Omar Abdullah and Nidhi Razdan Marry in Civil Ceremony

“A new journey began yesterday,” Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah wrote on Saturday, sharing photos with journalist Nidhi Razdan. The 56-year-old politician and 49-year-old journalist married the day before, according to PTI, in a ceremony held under India’s Special Marriage Act. The Supreme Court agreed in July to end it after the couple reached a settlement and agreed to withdraw cases still underway. They had lived apart for years and have two sons, Zahir and Zamir.
