RJ Mitte’s Breaking Bad role helped challenge disability stereotypes

At 14, RJ Mitte joined the Breaking Bad cast as Walter White Jr., a teenager with cerebral palsy. His family life was caught up in the aftermath of his father’s crimes. Police in Brownsville, Texas, said the cause and manner remain unknown while an investigation continues; media reports, citing representatives or officials, described his death as suicide.
