Three More Bodies Found at Kraków Gunman’s Home
Prime Minister Donald Tusk said three bodies were found at the suspect’s home after six people were killed in Kraków. Police say the 25-year-old Polish suspect fired from a car into the crowded Main Market Square before officers arrested him. Investigators are examining the deaths and the attack as Poland begins national mourning.

Three bodies, two women and a man, were found at the home of the suspect in Kraków’s deadly shooting, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said. He said they were likely members of the suspect’s close family, but investigators have not publicly confirmed their identities or how they died. The discovery added a second crime scene to a case that had already left six people dead in the city’s historic centre. 110
Six people, four women and two men, were killed when the 25-year-old Polish suspect drove into Main Market Square on Saturday afternoon. He fired at random from his car, police said. Officers exchanged gunfire with him, wounded him and took him into custody; he was then taken to hospital. Sixteen people were reported injured in some accounts, including the suspect and two police officers. One officer was in critical condition. Police also found more weapons and ammunition in the car. 146
That square is a busy gathering place in a city known for its historic centre and visitors from around the world. The victims included a British citizen, and five foreign nationals were among those hurt, according to Polish officials. Interior Minister Marcin Kierwiński said the suspect appeared fascinated by far-right ideas and held radical views. Authorities have not established a motive, and the three deaths at his home remain part of the investigation. Tusk called the attack terrorism and announced two days of national mourning. 1210
The investigation now has to establish who the three people found at the suspect’s home were and whether their deaths are linked to the shooting. Polish police are also examining the weapons, the suspect’s actions and the circumstances of the attack. National mourning is set for Sunday and Monday, November 8 and 9, as officers continue their work and officials seek answers for victims’ families. 114
