Tiger Shroff Safe After Gunfire Near His Car in Mumbai

By Sunday evening, Mumbai Police had confirmed the key point: actor Tiger Shroff was safe after shots were fired in Juhu. Reports place the attack near Pushpa Park, but details about injuries and what happened still differ. Police have opened an investigation through Juhu Police Station, and officers are searching for those involved. ^1,2

The shooting was reported at Pushpa Park, as Shroff travelled in an SUV. One account says three men on a motorcycle fired at the vehicle between 7 and 7:30 p.m.; another says Shroff was leaving a sports facility or returning from a game. Reports say his driver was injured, and some also mention injuries to an autorickshaw driver or other people. Police have not confirmed all those details in their latest statement. ^2,4,6

Those differing accounts matter because early reports can make it hard to tell who was targeted and who was hurt. Police say Shroff suffered no gunshot injuries, while reports of injuries to people nearby have not been consistent. The attackers’ identities and motive are unknown. Social media posts claiming the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was behind the attack have been reported, but they remain claims, not confirmed police findings. ^1,4,6

Police are reviewing CCTV footage and searching for the suspects. The shooting happened in Juhu, an affluent Mumbai suburb known as a home to Bollywood celebrities, but reports do not explain why Shroff was targeted. Police say the investigation is underway. Officers are expected to share more details as they piece together what happened. ^1,6
