Manage the employee lifecycle and act as the primary point of contact for employee relations at Newspresso Tech, our IT consulting practice.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for employee relations across Newspresso Tech
- Manage the employee lifecycle: onboarding, engagement, performance check-ins, and offboarding
- Address employee grievances, conflicts, and queries with a fair, solutions-first approach
- Support hiring coordination: scheduling, offer rollouts, and documentation
- Maintain HR records, attendance, and compliance documentation
- Drive engagement initiatives, feedback loops, and culture activities for a distributed tech team
- Partner with founders and managers on policy rollout and team morale
What we're looking for
- 2-3 years of experience in HR or employee relations, preferably in a tech or startup environment
- Hands-on experience with HR tools such as HRMS platforms (Keka, Zoho People, greytHR), ATS tools, and G-Suite/MS Office
- Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
- Understanding of basic labor compliance and HR policy documentation
- Ability to work closely with both product and engineering teams in a fast-paced, informal startup culture
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
