What happened

On Saturday, 22 August 2026, Newspresso hosted its first community meetup at 91Springboard in Gurgaon: a speed networking evening for people working in and around tech.

25+ people showed up. Speed networking keeps everyone moving through short, rotating conversations, so you meet far more people in one evening than you would standing around at a typical meetup. The talks didn't stop when the rounds did, and plenty of conversations carried on well after.

It was the start of something bigger. Based on the feedback from that evening, the community is now Tech Foundry, with a sharper focus on tech talks, startup events, and conversations with people from the industry.
